Qubitstack ("we", "us", or "our") operates the sWish mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number, used for authentication and profile display.
• Profile photo: An optional image you upload to personalize your profile.
• Wish data: Titles, descriptions, links, images, and categories you create within the app.
• Device contacts: With your permission, we access your contacts to help you find friends on sWish and suggest wishes to them. Contact data is used solely for matching and is not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary for this feature.
• Push notification tokens: We store your device token to deliver notifications about wish updates, suggestions, and reservations.
• Analytics and crash data: We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect anonymized usage patterns, crash reports, and performance metrics to improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To display your wishes and enable sharing with friends
• To match contacts and facilitate wish suggestions between users
• To send push notifications about activity on your wishes
• To generate AI-powered wish images (text prompts are sent to OpenAI; no personal data is included)
• To improve the app experience through analytics
• To diagnose and fix crashes and bugs

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, and Crashlytics. See Firebase Privacy.
• OpenAI: Used to generate wish images from text descriptions. Only the wish description text is sent; no personal identifiers are included. See OpenAI Privacy Policy.
• Apple: Push notifications are delivered via Apple Push Notification service (APNs).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With other sWish users when you make wishes public or suggest wishes to friends
• With third-party service providers as described above, solely to operate the app
• If required by law or to protect our legal rights

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), Firebase security rules, and secure cloud infrastructure to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Export your data in a portable format

8. Children's Privacy

sWish is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by other means. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
